I'm just back from 5 days riding in Italy about 1.5 hours from Venice. It was sooo beautiful - we stayed in a working farm and were well fed with home grown Italy food and lots of Prosecco. The riding was all over the local area, lots of hills studded with cute churches, villas and villages. We rode to a restaurant in the evening and then rode back in the moonlight, trusting our horses to canter over the fields safely. I can't imagine doing that in England The whole thing cost about £600 including flights (Easyjet) accommodation
riding and meals. Am I allowed to say that on the forum? Anyway I was just gobsmacked at how reasonable it all was. The horses were beautiful - mostly home bred quarter horses. If anyone wants their details PM me.
