Face rubs

I upgraded grazing muzzles and bought Daisy a Best Friend this year hoping that it wouldn't rub her face but I brought her in today and found a huge sore under her chin that had come on literally during the day.

Any tips on how to treat sores from muzzles and how to avoid them in the first place? I've padded most of it but it seems to be just wherever it touches her face.

She's a hairy cob so surely if she rubs it must rub all types of horse?

Is thre enough room too stick a bit of sheep skin there?

I bought Amy a Best Friend GM too - and it rubbed her very badly. I have put sheepskin around it - which helped somewhat. But I was very dissapointed to have spent so much money and for that to have happened.
