Mud four figures seems like 4000 to 6000 to me. Which is a fairly big range when it comes to horse buying.

Low 4 figures I'd guess at being 2k to 3k and high 4 figures I would expect 8k ish. Less than 2k would probably come with a "project" tag these days!
