Yard has just erected indoor school and bought new set of jumps. YM is proposing that school can be booked for jumping 3 nights a week over the winter. Her argument is that you don't then come up at 7 planning to run through a dressage test only to find school covered in jumps, or vice versa. Yard shuts at 8 in winter though this isn't strictly enforced, mainly because no one abuses it. Doesn't have closing time in summer.
There is a similar sized outdoor school with floodlights and a small pen without lights, used mainly for lungeing or groundwork. People who don't jump can use the indoor school on jumping nights but have to work round the jumps and jumpers.
Would you object to this?

I think it is very reasonable although I don't jump. I am suprised how riled about it a couple of liveries are, to the extent they are talking of leaving. I wondered if I had missed something.

Sounds like an eminently sensible and reasonable system.

Perhaps those objecting would like to build their own indoor school - oh do they not have £50k+?? well they can make their choice then if they dont want to live with a system that on the face of it has been designed for the maximum use by everyone who shares it!!!
