I keep looking at horse ads and finding reasons why I shouldnt try them and now heaven help me I am getting really depressed about the whole subject.

The biggest problem is I have no definite idea of what I want but will know it when I see it. I havent found anything I like enough to make the effort since the lovely mare that failed her vetting at end of september.

Please could someone please give me a swift kick up the arse!

And heaven help my poor OH who is being so patient with me.

Your horse is out there for you, just be patient. When I was looking in total we looked at 10 horses 2 of which failed vettings, so me & mum decided to hold fire for a while then one day mum decided just to have a mooch saw a lovely little horse decided to go see him & he was just what we wanted & he passed the vetting. So it while happen, but when you least expect it :)

Stop beating yourself up - whats the rush? As you said when u see the one you will know and thats all there is to it! Whats the point of wasting your time and the sellers time by going seeing, test driving horses that you know dont do it for you?:)

Well you hit the nail on the head there its stressful enough for both sides so if I have the slightest doubt in my mind I dont go viewing. So I have been looking for ages but only tried a few. A friend who is a dealer rings me if he has anything in I might like but I told him off as the last one just wasnt a Flibble horse. Its ok he is a good friend so I can grumble at him. To be honest the last one he showed me was gross as I said to him.
