Hi all of you,
Since about 6 month I have a Fairfax girth. My mare really improved since I'm using it, so I was really glad (except for the costs
).
But now after a few months of use my leather is getting very hard and also little cracks do apear.
Is this problem familar to other people as well? And what have you done about it?
I think I have paid a lot of money for my girth and was hoping it would last for the next couple of years.
I am already taking very good care of the leather (cause I paid such a lot for it).
After every use I clean it, just with some water to take the sweat and fur off. 2 or 3 times a week I treat it with leather gel.
What can I do more, or am I the only one having this problem?
