No idea if this has already been asked or not but was speaking to someone at yard today who pointed out that her fairfax Girth (and mines) were really loose at front (where the shaping is) but tight at back. Is this normal? Thought it was supposed to be even pressure throughout but now confused.

I think it's supposed to be about how the girth distributes the pressure not making it even .
So the girth is designed to shift the pressure away from the most senestive areas .

This is what my saddler told me. I was a bit concerned as it is looser at the front, but saddler confirmed that was the right fit. Horse seems happy - and she usually lets me know if she isn't!
