Hi H&H Readers,
Just wondering if anyone had any preferences or remarks between these two girths?
Considering saving up for either one, slightly prefer the sound of the FairFax simply because I've heard nothing but great reviews.
They are costly I know, however Im trying to make the most out of it and use it between 2-3 several horses who luckily are all very similar girth sizes and all fit as the 'Narrow' fitting in FairFax.
One horse I feel would benefit is a very sensitive mare, had a lot of sarcoids a few years ago around the girth/elbow crease area so she does find herself uncomfortable in a normal girth from all the treatment and scars, as we have to ride her in sheepskin lining. She's very facey to do girths up etc.
Second is a conemarra who is naturally short and stotty in his way of going (though this is dramatically improving all the time), but he is also very sensitive and just needs to learn to relax and open his front frame a little more!
Third (if fits) is a Welsh, phenominal dressage marks, struggles a little with medium/extended, but he's not as desperate for one and would only use it on him if it fitted all 3, which would be perfecto!!
Not heard much about the Amerigo, so just curious
thanks!
