Hi there, I'm new to all this,

Does anyone have any experience with fairfax saddles? My daughter desperately needs a new Xc/sj she is looking at the Andrew Hoy Xc mono flap with performance panel for big shouldered sensitive horse. It lookes fab and like the concept behind it freedom of movement etc, just wondered if anyone has one and what you think.

I haven't got one, I had a lengthy chat with Vanessa Fairfax at Badminton and was lookiong at the Gareth Dressage & Andrew Hoy XC saddles. I'm already using the girth and it has made a considerable difference to my horse, I'm completely sold by the technology behind it and I'm planning to order both early next year.
I'll be watching this thread with interest, please do let me know how you get on with it, if you chose to get one, either through this or by PM

Hi there from a 'new kid' on the block. I'v had a Fairfax jump saddle for approx. 2 years and absolutely love it. Have a very short coupled irish chap and I'm very long in the leg from my hip to my knee and have had trouble finding a saddle to fit both him and me. This works a treat as very forward cut, but lets horse move freely through his shoulder. Already had wider plate put in and flocking adjusted slightly and still fits a treat with very low cost involved. After having very expensive saddles which have had to change regularly as horse changes shape - this is a very big bonus!! Highly recommend. Like it so much, using it on another horse on the yard who also goes very well in it.
Hope this helps.
