Fairfax vs Henry James

Get EvoEquine instead 😉

Fairfax are very pricey and the leather isn’t as nice as my EvoEquine bridles. I’ve only had reins from Henry James and they also weren’t as good quality as the EvoEquine reins.

I tend to direct people to fit their horse's anatomy individually, finding the right bridle from a good bridle fitter or on their own, from whatever brand offers the right geometry. Quantum and Horsemanship seem to be the ones that people have the most success with.

A saddler pointed out to me that Fairfax have traditionally made saddles whereas HJ are known for bridles and this is reflected in their products.
Have 4 HJ bridles and love them.

I have to say I have HJ reins and really like them. When it comes to a new bridle I will probably be looking at theirs.

I have several HJ bridles and would be hard pushed to go elsewhere now... The only other bridle I have is my show bridle that does need to be more traditional in its design.

I also have HJ and like it, and it’s less expensive than the Fairfax. For that money I’d probably get a Stübben freedom rather than FF.

I have a couple of Henry James bridles and I love them, the quality is lovely. I would not thank you for a Horsemanship bridle, I have seen a few and the quality of their gimmicky headpieces are awful.
