Only been there once and it was the really wet spell, and the ground was fantastic, I was very surprised, the fences are well kept and the whole place is pretty
I've been with my brother and SiL as they live nearby. Huge amounts of fences with up to 4 different heights for each type of fence. Lots of the take offs and landings were all weather as I recall, so hopefully the going shouldn't be a problem.
One thing though - dogs aren't allowed at all, so leave your pooch at home if you have one.
Ground has always been good when I have been and I love it - but I am a nervous nelly - whilst the jumps are beautifully built and kept and there are varying heights, I wouldn't say there is anything "challenging" or high enough for any serious jumpers out there.
Its a great place for young horses and/or the more nervous rider though like me, as you can jump the same jump at varying heights - so start off small and once confident work your way up.
It's my local XC course - i've been XC schooling there for years and love it! It's fantastic for the babies and it's the course I take all my youngsters too.
It's also good for horses that want a bit more of a challenge but the max fence height there is about 3ft-3'3.
The ground is always VERY good
Highly recommend it.
