Help! I can't decide between these two rugs, I have a lot of Fal rugs and I love the fact they dry very quickly overnight. Do the Rambos dry just as quick? I'm drifting towards the Rambo now because of the cheaper price, aghghghgh not sure!

If you have either of these rugs, please let me know your opinions.

Thx a lot,
Helen

I just bought a RAmbo Supreme but haven't used it yet. My friend has a FAL Goliath and swears by it but she leaves it on over night to dry (I always take mine off) so it's fine for the morning. Sorry, not much help was I ?

Thanks! Let me know what you think once you've used the rambo & how quickly it dries, I usually take my Fal off overnight and its dry by morning but am at a yard now where they tend to leave them on so not sure what to go for! I'd buy the Fal in an instant but the Rambo is cheaper and I like the leg arches and 3rd surcingle.... ooooh decisions......

I have a Rambo Supreme which I got last winter and it is absolutely brilliant. I have a couple of others but the Rambo fits perfectly (16.2 TB X). It takes a real battering because he loves to get down and dirty. I've just started using it this winter now the cold wet stuff has arrived.

When its really pouring it does have some dampness around the edge of the neck but I'm using the neck cover this year which I didn't last year. All in all he remained dry and warm through the crappiest of weather last winter.

My friend has a Fal and I've seen a number of people rate them highly but the Supreme does the job perfectly and why pay more !!!

I bought 2 new Rambo Supremes for my boys this year....as have no shelter for them as yet until our mobile shelters arrive....have had old Rambos in the past and been v v vv impressed, but.....bit disappointed to be honest - yes, lightweight, waterproof etc but my horses have been cold (not clipped, one cob one big warmblood) and required additional rugs....

I also tried them both on and looked to fit perfectly, but now in use, they seem to pull forwards a bit and could both do with being longer over their bottoms.

I am disappointed - we are fairly blowy/exposed area but I have expected these rugs to keep them warm and they haven't really - am v surprised. Has anyone else had similar experience??? think that my old rugs were better!

fal rugs are much better and warmer than the rambos and a better quality .. i also have rambos that are around 8 yrs old now still going . bought the duo 2 yrs ago and it deffo not as warm as my fal rugs and the velco never stayed shut on the duo ... deffo fal rugs much better

Thanks for all the advice! I think I've made my mind up for the Fal now after reading all this, was comparing my Fal viking last night to my friend's rambo wug, i think its the fact the lining on the outside is separate to the actual duvet bit inside that makes it warmer. Oh dear... more money......!
