Any good?

I have a Fal which I bought a couple of winters ago in a sale - it's one which takes the liner under it, they don't make them any more. It has worn incredibly badly - after only 2 winters of use it is looking extremely tired.

In contrast, my weatherbeetas have lasted 7 years and have only been retired due to wearing through at the stitching and a close encounter with a barbed wire fence.

I need to buy a MW turnout rug, and it comes down to the weatherbeeta or the fal pro tasker.

I won't touch Masta/Rhinegold rugs, and things like Mark Todd/Horsewear/PE are all coming in at too much money.

Does anyone have the Tasker, and will it wear well please?
 
I don't have a Tasker but I've bought a couple of other Fal turnouts, including the most expensive, over the last couple of years and been massively disappointed. I used to swear by Fals, I have 3 that are over 10 years old and still wearing really well. I think the company moved its production elsewhere and I've found the newer ones have cheaper fittings and fabrics. Won't be buying one again.
 
Fals used to be really good, but about 4 years ago they started making them in China and the quality dropped dramatically! I wouldn't buy a new one now but you can pick up older rugs second hand on Ebay - I bought a couple last winter (one of them in new condition) and I'm really pleased with them. I also have Fal rugs for my big boy that I bought almost 12 years ago and they are still going strong and I have absolutely no need to replace them!
