Any suggestions how to stop Hovis falling in on his right rein?
It doesn't help thats its my "bad" rein too as I don't have much strength in my leg but he is falling in quite noticeably.

He's 5 years old so still young but if there's anything I can do to help him balance a bit better that way that would be good.
He's fine on the other rein.
Any help gratefully received.

I may be totally barking up the wrong tree here;

Is he stiffer down his left side than right side? It could be that he is failing to stretch his left side when it is on the outside and thus falling in. If this is the case I'd suggest lots of exercises to get him working around your inside leg on the right rein. Perhaps circles spiralling in and out, some leg yield steps etc. He needs to be working from inside leg into your outside hand...though you know that I'm sure. Neck flexions to the inside may help too.

H was like this on the left rein, i found that lots of lunging on that rein with trot -canter transitions really helped him to balance himself, he's just turned 6 and is so much stronger now than as a 4&5yo. i think that the lunging is good as then you can;t influence them with your weight distribution.
