My horse cannot lunge, or more I cannot lunge! My horse literally rushes round in trot with head in the air and sometimes loses balance and falls. As such I haven't tried since for fear of causing damage. Back checked just a few weeks ago. Would a training aid help to put the horses head down and therefor help balance? Or should I just accept this horse can't lunge and stick to riding....horse has poor conformation, upside down neck from years of poor riding so I fear a training aid may be to much hard work when the muscles in the horses neck are how they are.
