I'm looking to move to Falmouth soon, but I'm not sure if there's much going on locally as I'm moving from Manchester. My new partner isn't horsey and I'm not currently a horseowner after the sudden loss of my mare 5 years ago, but I'd love to get back into riding, I've googled but havn't found much at all, any pointers on where to find a place that offers hacks?

If you're on Facebook there's a group which covers the Westcountry area called "The Nutty Nags" which has a huge membership and if you join that group then you might be able to find out what you need to know!

There are of course others too.

Welcome to "The Sharp End". I'm across the Great Divide (East Devon).

Wheal Buller will offer hacks on some nice off road trails in Redruth area (25mins from Falmouth). Also try Newton Equestrian at Mullion, down towards the Lizard.
Thank you, I've found Wheal Buller and it seems a nice place, I love the area around there. I was just hoping to find something closer. I'm yet to move so I'm trying to move close to a stables, sadly there's not much around Falmouth. I must say I don't drive so my need to be close is genuine :)

I'll get searching for that, sounds interesting. Thanks for the head's up!
