Hi all,

I'm taking my boy up to the horspital in a mo to have a scan on his leg that was opperated on back in August. He had made a good recovery and was sound up until a couple weeks ago. I'm just praying he's just tweeked something and hasn't done any permenant damage.

I am so redicuously in debt because of this horse but he is my world so I would really appreciate it if everyone keeps their fingers crossed!

Thanks

Thank you everyone.

The scan didn't reveal anymore damage so that's the good news. The bad news is that my vet thinks that it would be sensible to keep him in on box rest for another 8-12 weeks and then reassess to give it the best chance of healing. I'm lucky in that he is very well behaved whilst in but with the days getting shorter and shorter walking him out in the morning/evening for 20 mins is going to be really tough as theres nowhere quiet around here to take him.
