Aldaniti...despite all the bad things that happened in his life, he came through it all and had a heart the size of England!
His story always tugged my heartstrings...and has stuck with me for years and years.

And It's Otto, i absolutely adore that boy,i love the way he seems to stay in the air forever over a jump (maybe not so good if in a jump off, but lovely to watch lol). Sandro Boy, my ultimate dream horse, just gorgeous and an amazing talent.

Well there's a surprise! LOL
So many - it's been a long life remember?!
Nizefela, he was my Dad's favourite and I used to look after him in retirement. Without him, Britain would not have won the only Gold Medal of the Helsinki Olympic Games and he should have won the Individual too but was faulted at the water which is acknowledged now to have been a kick back of dirt. GB did not appeal as it was seen not the done thing to argue and not in keeping with the spirit of the Games; such a shame, he deserved it.; fantastic horse, by a pure Shire out of a TB.
Stroller because he had the heart of a lion and could jump a house even though he was only 14.2. (anyone remember the Montreal Games I think when he jumped well even with a tooth abcess (not found until later)
Ryan's Son because he was such a trier and put JW on the map.
Last but not least, Boomerang who must have struck fear into every other rider on the circuit, he was such a phenomenal jumper with a fantastic rider; none better although Deister came close at times.
Incidentally, anyone heard from Showjumping Fan lately?
Loved Milton but also loved that crazy grey eventer Murphy Himself. He was frightening to watch with Ginny Leng I think it was rode him to start with, but wow what a horse!
At the moment I actually love to see Geoff Luckett's jumper Marlene, she's great to watch, throws the hugest bucks in all the time but is fantastic! Plus, great name!!!
Loved Milton, such amazing presence
Ryans Son, loved the buck he did at the end of a round and he was still competing til he was about 18.
Fire, Norbert Koofs world champion horse, the most striking looking horse.
Stroller, he and Marion Mould were such a great team.
Aldaniti, he beat the odds
Red Rum, he wasa legend, had the pleasure of meeting him once.
Silver Birch, won me a good few quid last year.
and Champion the wonder horse, Flicka, and Haki the shetland pony lol
There are so many - Stroller and Red Rum, because I "met" both of them, and they both had huge personalities. Milton, Ryans Son, Aldaniti . My daughter has some lovely pics of Desert Orchid leading the runners out at Cheltenham in 2006 she said he was bouncing around like a 3 year old. I am sure there are loads more which I will keep remembering or people will mention them. Also don't know if he was famous enough but saw the Welsh Cob Llanarth Flyer in the ring once, he was something else
