Dear friends

Professionally I write quite a lot (mostly marketing copy and boring stuff about communications and social media), however as a hobby pastime a few years ago I put pen to paper and created a short equestrian thriller - 'Twice in a Blue Moon'.

I won't promise the next Harry Potter (or indeed Fifty Shades of anything!) however, if you do fancy a free eBook please visit:

I am hoping that posting may goad me on to complete the National Novel Writing Month challenge* to complete the sequel which has lain uncompleted for many years!

Many thanks

Wilf

*you have to write a novel during November - anyone want to have a go as well?

right so i have downloaded in pdf how do i store it x

The file should be on your computer in the Downloads folder, you can open it from to read on-screen or print (if you prefer paper).

If you have an eReader (such as a Kindle or a Kobo) you can download the file to your eReader using the software which was supplied with it.

I hope this helps, drop me a line if you need more advice!

Hello - I think I saw another book you published in 2005 on amazon.

Yes, I published a version of this book via a small company who no longer exist (where on earth Amazon get copies from I have no idea and I certainly don't see any return!) - I was not quite happy with the book so I rewrote it and gave it a new name, since then I have been offering it free of charge.

I hope people enjoy it!

Nano is great. I've done it for the past eight years. Should be pitching a book to an agent shortly!

I have never done it, but have bits of novels uncompleted and want to finish at least one more this year! Good luck with the agent, I hope you do really well! :)

If its any help sometimes anti virus/web security applications will flag a site as suspicious just because it is new and hasn't been live for very long. I can see why this might cause concerns, i.e. a scam site might be one just posted, but often it will flag a completely legitimate website just because it is new.

Based on experience of trying to open a website on a domain that I myself had written and purchased. Investigation on the web showed that web site age was one of flags that these types of security applications were triggered on.

I hope that this helps someone

Thanks for that... (You learn something new everyday!) - I have the book hosted on a couple of sites (the ones that will allow you to post a product for free!) but had not encountered the issue before.

Very useful to understand why it happens - thank you for posting! :)

I 'think' I have downloaded it to my kindle on my ipad, and will have a look at it later. I love reading last thing at night and so am looking forward to this.

Thanks.

Could not work out how to download- got fed up - bought paper copy of your first write on amazon- read it in an hour with a cup of tea when it was too hot to do anything- off to my daughters for her to work out how to download from free ebooks ...
