Fancy dress dressage ideas?

Riding club is organising a fancy dress dressage in early October. I think its a fab idea and have started to think about my costume.

Bearing in mind horse is a little "turbo charged" and spooky anyway I'm thinking no flappy stuff but...

...FAME 80's theme? Neon leggings, leg warmers over the top of my long boots, tutu skirt, arm sweat bands, bright bandages on horse, I have a pink and black hat silk already and she is grey so she could have some neon starts on her in face paints

Any other ideas? Need an idea for a top of some kind too!

he he he i can't believe you've just posted this because i have just been looking at pics online of fancy dress ideas as we are having a funday on monday at the yard!

whats more two of the girls at my yard recently did the fame thing with their horses, neon leg warmers, fluorescent hair extensions the lot it was very very funny!

If your horse is grey can you put some battenburg (blue and dayglo yellow) patches on her or maybe decorate an exercise sheet with them, dress yourself up all in blue and go as a police car with you as the blue light? Do you have to dressage to music? You could use anything by the Police!
