I am planning going to a wee local show soon that has a class for fancy dress and was wanting to put breagha into it with my niece.
I have looked on google and everything on there looks like it costs alot of money and alot of time. Does anyone have any ideas of what I could dress
them up as and how to do it cheap as chips.

I did think about dressing Breagha up with a nappy etc on as she is only a yearling and put my niece in a onsie or something but is that too simple.

Here is a picture of breagha, let me know of your ideas :D

Teddy bears picnic

Stick some paper plates, cups etc onto a picnic blanket and put it on the horse then get a teddy bear onsie or something similar for your niece

If you've got time it doesn't cost a lot - my best ever as a kid was Thomas the tank engine ( blue sheet cardboard wheels tinfoil straps between wheels ( loads more details but next to no cash spent) and I was the fat controller ( black kids and jacket and a cardboard top hat cover for my skull cap. ) not quick but the only money we spent was black paint for the wheels and top hat...

I never thought if Thomas, used to love that when I was younger lol

I did Robin Hood when the riding school I went to had fancy dress (and I won!).

I wore green leggings and t-shirt then made a green robin hood hat with orange feather to fit over my skull cap (think I modelled myself on the disney fox version of robin hood!)
