Fancy Dress Ideas

My friend's kid took my little pony into fancy dress dressed as pirates:D Go to a fabric shop, buy some material off the roll (cheap as chips), we had red and white stripes in a triangle across his chest and then had skulls under his saddle. Red ribbons tied tattily into his mane and tail, pirate hat attached to the bridle and a red bandana. Luckily my pony wasn't fazed by the massive flag on a pole blowing by his head that I assisted in carrying as the kid couldn't keep it still :D:o:D
 
My 2daughters and niece are going to be the 3 little pigs (pink clothes(not difficult!),pig masks(fancy dress shop),curly tails&one carrying sticks,one a slice if hay and the other some
foam 'bricks' and pony/wolf in brown sheet,big furry stick-on tail (fabric shop) and modified fly mask with big, pointy card 'teeth' stuck on:)
 
Some of these are fantastic! We have a yard summer show and because I do showing throughout the season I thought for a bit of fun I would do the fancy dress instead. Was hoping to dress up myself and my yearling so has to be led, she is totally chilled with everything anyway but hey it all adds to her experiences! Will get my thinking cap on!

If the pony is a dark solid colour (bay or black) I saw a fantastic fd where they dressed the girl up with vet coat and stethoscope and used white paint to paint the skeleton on the horse... Really eye catching it's on line somewhere but can't post link as I'm on phone. I really like sheep and little bo peep too :D
