fancy dress ideas?!

Me and a friend are doing a local show in a few weekends time and we're completely mind blank! (fancy dress class) ;)
we were not thinking of anything to plain or normal i.e. pirate's, mermaids kind of thing but something out of the box!
If you have any ideas please share! :D:D
 
My friend once painted a white sheet with black blobs and made her horse look like a cow, whilst she wore overalls and a flat cap like a farmer! she also once dressed him like a chav, leg warmers, chunky necklace, forelock stuck up in a pony tail, ankle braclet etc!! :)
 
What colour are the horses/ponies.

It is a bit sad considering my daughter is 3, the pony is 14 months and we have not joined the pony club but I already have some great ideas for her doing fancy dress in the future lol
 
I went to a party where everyone had to be dressed as a song title, when you give it some thought it is easier than it seems, I went as Gold, fairly appropriate at the moment:D Others I thought of, Handbags and Gladrags, Purple Rain, Material Girl, there are loads more and you could go as a pair with the same theme.
 
Little no peep and sheep, toadstool and fairy, paint a skeleton on horse and dress in white coat and stethoscope as a vet...
 
once saw a teddy bears picnic, pony was dressed as table, with tea pot, cups and plates of sandwiches on it, and person leading was the bear, looked so sweet !
but i realy like the cow idea someone has mentioned !
 
When I was younger I dressed my horse up as Elvis (cardboard quiff on his browband, a big cloak with a guitar stuck on it) and I dressed up in a 1960s rockabilly-type outfit. We were a Rocking Horse. :D You could do it with a more up to date band or a four piece like Queen?
