fancy dress ideas!

has anyone got any fancy dress ideas? everyone seems to do cowboys and indians so looking for something that is cheap to make but a bit different, will be going on my bay new forest! is it a bit mean to enter fancy dress at 23? dont want any upset kids

My favourite is "For Sale 100% Bombproof" Stick a sign on your ponies bum. And then wrap you and the pony in bandages and facepaint on scars and blackeyes. Wear a sling. Always done well for me. I love fancy dress competitions but I think its such a shame adults don't do them!

My kids have gone as a knight using the pony's boet, barbie on her horse with pink wool for mane, lots of ribbons tied on and a nice pink satin rug.

I wanted to dress the pony as an aeroplane with cardboard wings, a tail piece and a propellor - kiddy could be wearing a flying jacket and goggles

They wanted to be a knight and barbie though

last time i did fancy dress looked like this!......

but you can only really spray paint (its that brush out hair stuff) greys!

friend did this though which won her the 14+s

I went to a Xmas fancy dress as Braveheart! Great craic! The venue wasn't expecting any adults and had to run out to the local shop to buy chocs and stuff!

It was cheap as well, just had to buy a little tartan, face paint kit and some wool to make a wig - oh and tin foil for a sword LOL!
