Fancy Dress, Panto characters Theme

I'm going to a christmas showjumping show, which is fancy dress.
I thought it was any festive related dress but it turns out the theme is pantomime characters...

Any ideas?! I really want to go all out on my costume but I can't think of ANYTHING

Horse is a 15hh, bay tb x so can't pull off some of the cute things you'd see on a shetland

Princess and the Pea? You could be the princess and dress the horse in green and try and get like a green exercise rug or something similar so the horse is the pea

Beauty and the Beast- You could dress the horse as the beast and you go as beauty

google pantomine characters or something and you may get some inspiration

Mad Hatter - make sqiuiffy top hat with 10s 6d sign to go over riding hat
waistcoat, print off a pocket watch on A4 paper, and glue to card, cut out and attach by sewing on a chain, large spotty bow tie, loud chefs style trousers or decorate jodhs with stick on diamonds



and teapot horse - plait tail, and plait outwards and onto itself to fashion to a handle shape carefully (so cannot jab horse) with a pipecleaner or two or a cable tie to stiffen it up at the top. Doesn't work well with a thick tail though.
Decorate exercise sheet or saddle cloth with eg PG Tips or Twinnings logos, OR pictures of plates of sandwiches, cup cakes etc, make a placard by printing on card and attach with cable ties to go on each side of reins which says 'pour this way -->' and <---pour this way'

Aladdin & Magic Lamp

Aladdin - turban round hat, shiny waistcoat, baggy glittery trousers, jewels, rings

Horse - tail to form handle as above, buy some shiny, metallic fabric as a sheet, decorate bridle, saddle etc with glitzy jewel bits
