Just wondered if anyone has used them and what they think of them, and (forgive me for being stupid) I presume they are not competition legal in dressage...
i have flexireins not sure of they are the same thing. they are fantastic defiantly helps my mare not be so snatchy and 'gobby' (as my RI puts it lol) but as you say they aren't dressage legal.
I have used them on my mare, who can block alot on the left rein, which in turn makes me set my arm and my shoulder. Using the reins has helped, I no longer ache after a schooling session!
I am going to be different here and I hate them! I don't feel like I have a true connection with the horse's mouth and it gives snatchy horses more freedom to snatch.
That's just my opinion though.

that is exactly what my mare did!!! and how i reacted to, very odd
i love mine although i havent competed yet in normal reins since i have tried the elastic ones so will have to see how that goes, but she is fantastic in her elastic ones.
I have the flexi-rein inserts for my older gelding who didn't like to work into a contact, well now he does so they are great in my oppinion. They don't suit all horses, my other horse who likes to lean on the reins doesn't go very well in them, you have to have a very strong rein contact or else he just ignores them. But the old man much prefers to be ridden on a light contact so these really suit him.
