Fantastic NFU insurance!

This isn't particularly horsey - but I wanted to put in a gold star marker for NFU insurance...

We have house, car, horse, trailer... whatever, all with the NFU. This morning I called for the first time in roughly a year to ask to put my partner's daughter on my car insurance for a day.

good points were - i was recognised immediately - and given I've been a client for less than 2 years, this impressed me hugely

- they put my step-daughter on the car with no hassle and when I asked how much it would be, said, 'We'll sort something out, don't worry.'

no call centres, no conversations in broken english, no hassle... it felt like I'd entered a time warp and gone back to 1950 - in a good way.

made my morning...

Yep I rate them too and have used them for the past 2 years.

NFU is fab, my local branch is a it of a nightmare but as a rule I love them and won't change even though my local branch forget to do stuff !

I thought they were useless, I tried to insure my horse for £500 so that I was covered for 3rd party and they refused to insure her as she had had an operation in the past, totally cured now - so completley unimpressed with them and now I am also getting junk mail of them

They are really good and I really rate them, they have made very stressful time more easier due their service and staff,

I use them for my car insurance as they were the only sensible ones when it came to my son going on my insurance - they've always been spot on with me on that though i did cancel my horse insurance as they refused to insure any of my horses legs after he had a sand crack in one hoof caused by an abcess, i thought they were a bit unreasonable over that

I am due to renew my yard insurance and the NFU are coming to see me tomorrow morning. I have heard so much positive about them on the forum that I thought I would give them a try

I have my car, trailer and ponies insured with NFU, and have done for 18 years they are very good.
