Fantastic weekend

Had a brilliant time, went to Wales (Brecon Beacons) for a riding weekend with a woman from our riding club. She has been for the last 11 years. We ate fantastic food and rode in beautiful countryside on horses who knew their job inside out. We rode for 5 hours each day, with some pretty fast places, through forrestry commission land. We got home yesterday and my legs and back are now paying the price! It was wonderful, rode two different horses on the two days, I'm sure that is good for my riding as I normally ride just my own mare. I can recomend it to anybody.

I went on a PGL holiday years ago and did 2 weeks of pony trekking in Brecon Becons

Totally agree with you on beauty of the area and how the horses don't miss their footing on the narrow paths is beyond me - I reckon they are crossed with mountain goat
