I know you all laugh about the idea of me buidling a signal box house in my yard in Kingussie (old goods yard) but check out a friend's one 3 miles away in Newtonmore, also build in an old railway good yard.
It is an amazing farm diversification opportunity and this one is let 100% of the year !!
It has to be the busiest Holiday House in Scotland with Railway Anoraks queueing up in their dozens to take their wife's away for romantic holidays !
So not so daft an idea after all, nice magazine article about it and photos taken by a friend of mine at home.
I need to go and start talking to our local planners sooner rather than later before the Cairngorm National Park stops these kind of developments.
