Was just wondering how you and George were getting on? Have you been out competing anymore?

I've been doing well with India, she's been a star. I've even popped a cross pole!

I'm still very nervous about hacking out, and haven't cantered her out yet, but getting there.

Hi there! We are going to another competition (a small local show) on BH Mon and I am quite scared! It is a showing show (ha ha!) and we are doing the riding club horse class and the ridden middleweight hunter - the problem is in the riding club class we have to jump a jump max height 2'6" - I jumped 2' on friday and that took all my courage so if it's 2'6" I will be running for the hills. Haven't really hacked out much since moving yards, but I'm working up to it slowly!

Glad you are having fun with India.

How exciting!! You two are going great guns.
Where's the show?

You'll be fine - it probably won't be up to height anyway, and it's just the one jump, so it's not like you've got to do the course.......plus George will barely have to step over 2'6"

When our local show says "required to jump one jump uo to 2 foot 6" it's normally a cross-pole of about 3 inches! So you should be fine, and if it is up to height, your adrenaline will be up anyway and you won't notice it!
