As you've hunted a full season before with Four Shires, I thought you could answer a little question for me.
How much "faster" is a normal hunt meet, either during autumn hunting with the hounds or hunting proper, than yesterday's meet?
Having never been to a hunt meet before, but knowing a friend go on a hound exercise meet which was mostly walk and trot, I thought yesterday might be slower than it was.
Don't get me wrong, I really enjoyed it!! The galloping over the stubble was amazing. I was just wondering if my mare will cope/keep up if the speed increases much more.
I guess clean boot hunting is faster than "regular" hunting - more on a par with a drag hunt?
