I haven't been on here very much recently what with my new addition (Thanks again for writing my wanted add, I wouldn't have my boy without it!)
How is the horse hunting going? Have you found a new horse yet?

Hi TofC, I'm so glad it worked out for you. I saw the photos you posted a while back of your new boy and he is one big handsome horse! Have you started to teach your OH to ride yet?

I know it sounds pathetic but after my marathon trip up to Manchester in March to try the horse that nearly bucked me off I kind of lost heart a bit and haven't looked at any more. I hate horse hunting so much

I will start looking again soon. I've been enjoying riding my old mare (until last weekend that is - she didn't seem quite right and is now off work awaiting a 2nd physio session and visit from the saddle fitter!

You really don't need to thank me for the advert help, I'm just happy it worked!

I have taken him out for a little poodle and he now realised it isn't as easy as it looks! He has asked to go out again this weekend, so he seems quite keen.
It doesn't sound silly at all. I questioned whether or not to get a horse after I tried a "safe, sane, sensible etc schoolmaster" who proceeded to rear up like nobodys business in two different rearing fits. I'm glad I carried on though, it is well worth it in the end.
Ouch physio and saddle fitter = £££££!
