What does your part livery include ? (services and hay/straw etc)
How much do you pay ? (if you don't mind telling me

)
How does it compare price wise to DIY or Full on your yard/in the area?

Thankyou for any help

Part livery, Full Livery, Assisted Livery, DIY Livery etc all mean totally different things to different people. There is no straight definition even for DIY, which you think would be simple. Some DIY do everything themselves, as you would imagine but other DIY include turnout, hay & straw in the price. In my view that is not DIY?

I think you need to speak to the yard you are interested in & ask for a price on what you want doing, or ask what services they provide.....it matters little what the service is called.

I'm kinda part/diy

I get, all bedding and Hay, and weekend turn out bring in. this is £40 per week.

part livery is bedding and hay, muck out bring in turn out but not on weekends. £60 a week (I think)

Full is same as part but includes feed/suppliments and weekend muck out bring in. £75 a week

for feeding bring in /turn out = £1.
rug changes & checks = free
muck out £4.50
If YO brings in horse without me asking.. ie she is churning up the field /not happy then she doesnt charge me.

YO does lessons (she is qualified) at £20 per hour..
She will also assist/advise any problems etc for free!

hope this helps

Part livery @ £390 in Epsom includes nice big stable with all mucking out done daily, water changed, put out to field in morning and brought in at 5pm, rugs changed, stand with vet or farrie if you cant make it, feeding and the price includes all bedding, feed, hay and worming plan.
So I just need to groom and ride! For a yard quite close to London a bargin and the staff are excellent!!!

im on part/assisted diy. YO feeds in morning, changes rugs and turns out, deals with water and hay in fields, straw and hay is included but extra for shavings. Also does a late night check and puts in extra feed/hay for those requiring it.
this is roughly £50 pw, Full livery is everything done for you bar riding and feed is still bought by owner. Riding is charge at £12 ph.
You can upgrade to full livery from part for a day at cost of £5 per horse. Im not sure on the weekly total of full livery its about £100 pw.
Livery charges also depend on facilities at yard tho remember, we have good facilities and very good all year turnout at our yard.

I am on Part Livery with shevings, this includes 1 bale of shavings a week. 2 feeds and either turnout of catch in. and all my hay which is approx £11 a day totalling about £350 a month

For an extra bale it is £8, an extra turnout of catch in is £2.50
Muckout £7.50 holding for vet/farrier £2.50. riding £15 per hour

If you work full time but still want to spend time with your horse everynight Part Livery is fantastic. I found when I had full livery it made me lazy as i did not have to go up my yard every day

Mine gets everything except grooming and riding (although they charge £15 an hour for this - riding - which I think is a bargain too). Mine is £350 a month and I get use of an indoor school 40x20 and an outdoor 60 x 25. Turnout is a little bit of an issue as only a half day (2-3 hours) in winter and just during the day (9 - 3:30) in summer - I would prefer more, especially in winter. They have a horse walker but it isn't made up yet
