Reg's plaits- these have been in for about 24 hours at this point (he's just done his dressage in this photo), and he went out overnight with them in. You can see the bits where his mane is literally less than 2 inches long, but if I was sewing in they'd look fine- bands are a bit limited with tufts of mane.
His mane is shorter than Ben's in the bit pre-tufts, and then about the same as Ben's up the top. I'd be inclined to think it out a bit though, but Al cba as the plaits look nice as is!
(please note how the wild ex-racer is casually having his ears manhandled for the second photo... He's so hard to deal with at comps, really buzzy. Lol!)
that's a great help! I had a little test tonight, just one plait but in the worst area... Thinking we will get away with it now! Thank you for posting these pics and thanks to everyone for their hints and comments, you've all been really helpful!
