Or anyone else who may have had this problem.

I have had the renewal of my Class 2 license refused on the grounds that the corrective lenses that I wear are not "well tolerated"

My eyes are 1.5/2 so well within the 8 that is allowed and my optician is puzzled. The only thing I can think of is that I had the prescription made up as sunglasses to help with the low winter sun and not as clear lenses. I'm not sure they have this information though, as the decision was made when choosing frames and after form filling out.

I realise this may be out of your area of expertise, but any thoughts would be appreciated.

I really don't want to lose my license - or my lorry.

My only advice is to go to your optician and ask them if they can help - perhaps ask at more than one so you get a decent all round view - no pun intended !

Ha ha!

I'm sure it must be a clerical error as "well tolerated" is such an ambiguous phrase.

Thanks for your advice, I just don't want to lose the appeal!
