How much are you paying, and how many days a week are you riding?

Just want to see how much prices may have/have not risen since I was last a sharer. IIRC roughly 6 years ago I was paying £20 a week plus £40 every 6-8 weeks for the farrier. This was in Berkshire, and I was down there 3X weekly.

How about you?

Before my current boy who is more like on a full loan for free (I'm very lucky) I paid half the all Inc part livery which worked out at 25 a week and I had Toby 3 days one week, 4 the next usually.

I charge mine £60pcm for 1 day a week. Other days/weekends adhoc but no extra charge. No yard duties.

That's a lot lower than other people charge on the same yard (in Herts) but the money is not the most important thing for me, I prefer to make sure he's got a good sharer who rides him nicely and will take care of him and help with his exercise. She gets an amazingly talented, honest, safe and well schooled hossy in return :)

I share for £30 a week, which is currently 5 days a week (4 weekdays and a Sunday). That will probably change again when her owner gets back from college, nothing is all that set in stone regarding days to be honest, we just work around what suits each other at whatever time. I also pay for the farrier :)

I part loan along with another girl, myself, sharer and owner go 'thirds' on everything - we do a 2-3 days a week each. I ride on my days and can ride on others too if the others aren't riding.

It works out about £20 each which includes Livery, feed, bedding, supps and trimming.

I used to pay £40 per month and rode 2 days a week plus jobs etc.

Since about 3 years ago I took the share on every day. Now her owner won't allow me to pay anything, I give her lifts to/from farm in return and buy food when I can. I go to the yard daily when I am home from uni.

I pay £15 a week for 3 days inc a weekend day. I only ride at the weekend as its winter (no school, floodlights etc - I work full time) come summer I'll ride/lunge on all 3 days.
I do all chores on them days and help with her other horse too. Works well for both of us :)

40pcm

Can ride as often as i like (within reason), usually 2 days pw, more durring holidays etc.

Stabled at night for some of winter, 24/7 everything else.

Seems like a good deal, but i've had to try and stamp out his naughtiness!
