Look out for the spotty horse in your part of the world. I gather BB has been sold to some people in Somerset and is on his way there as I write.
Rosie has been team chasing today and thought they were collecting him tomorrow but she says he is going to a 5* home where they aren't expecting anymore than he can deliver and she'll be happy if he fulfils their expectations

I guess he was always going to sell quickly (or not at all) given his record. Gather it is for a youngster with JRN aspirations but I'm not sure. They brought their vet with them who was asking for x-rays etc but when she checked him she said she'd never seen such a healthy eventer and waived the x-rays.

I think you'll recognise him if you see him

I'm actually v. pi**ed off because it's always been so easy to find him amongst the hundreds of pro pics

Glad he found a good home - I wish we'd had the funds! Just shows the really good ones go for good money and so quickly.

I'm sure Rosie will be just as successful at PtPing.

I've been following your post Beetle and it must be so heartbreaking to have lost your potential star - there but for the grace of God go the aspirations of all young peple who work so hard with young horses - Rosie was lucky.
When she went to the 'you've been selected to try etc.' thing the other week, her Mum discussed with one of the selectors her worries about whether BB was really ready to do what would be asked of him and the reponse was - don't worry - there's always the Young Riders in the future. They've never wanted to push him too hard, he's too special, but it would have been a long haul to get to advanced I think.
She loves racing and definitely wants to better her two wins last season - we're all hoping she will.

I can't imagine her buying a ready made horse but I'm sure she'll get another one to bring on. Anyone got a potential junior euro horse that needs a rider (lol)

wow what a quick easy sale! He was worth it. A shame for Rosie. Was she sad to see him go?
Hope she does well at PtPing

Umm very interesting wonder if its anyone I know. I know of a 15yo boy looking for that kind of horse just down the road!

She isn't too sad to see him go because he's gone to such a super home but I'm sure she will miss him. She's completely focused on racing at the moment anyway (she's riding for the E Essex in the CA Inter-hunt Challenge at Huntingdon on Thursday on one of the pointers) but hopefully she'll have one or two more to event once the season restarts.
It was her idea to sell him - he's her horse and she will keep the money so that'll be cheering her up!

PS Not deliberately bumping this - just realised I hadn't answered madclause's question

Rosiefan, pleased to hear he has gone to a good home, he's a lovely boy, I used to know him when he went to Kizzy's for schooling.
I wish Rosie luck for the P2P season!
