Hi folks,
Just curious what experiences people have had doing this, and if anyone has any recommendations?

Particularly interested in the Cheshire / Staffordshire / Derbyshire area.

Thanks :)

Just wondering…fun rides tend to be in the summer and hunting is in autumn / winter. Would hirelings tend to be turned away through summer?

Nope - Dave Guilding of DG Equine, Jill Carenza of Cotswold Riding and Hannah Good of Sussex Hunter Hirelings all hire out horses all year round. They'll stagger the horses available so they all get a bit of a break.
They hire them for team chasing, and hunt races as well as fun rides.

No, the hirlings are regulated under the animal activity act 2018, hiring of horses and are working animals earning their keep and a profit. They are licensed horses.

All the hirelings out near me are busy doing beach rides and hunt supported fun rides. If you fancy coming over yorkshire way there’s HF Hunter hirelings in Richmond.
