Depending where you are, Backford Farm Ride north of Chester is great for starting youngsters, ranging from raised trotting pole sized up to huge (for me ) ! The small fences are spaced out all the way round the ride as well.

Kelsall Hill (near Delamere) has some diddy ones and some mahoosive ones (to me they are anyway!) and everything inbetween. Lovely ride.

How about the Marbury Farm Rides? They do 4 farm rides a year and have a large variety and height of jump. They have their own website which you can google.
