Hi,
I am new to H&H forum but thought it was the best place to come for sound advice.

I have had a farrier to my horses for the past 6 months who appeared to be great, young and enthusiastic. He goes hunting with the North Hereford and seemed like a nice lad, he is on Facebook and has a website so he seemed really reputable as he does a couple of large yards too. I have since found out he is qualified with a "Dip" but my horses feet have really suffered, I have never had them so poor, nor lost as many shoes, my previous farrier has since moved away so I really am stuck.

As I was having endless problems with them I have since learning of a friend with the same issue, same farrier - I would love to be recommended some good farriers around Herefordshire/Worcestershire borders?

HELP!

Thank you!

Thank you so much for everyones help!

I have gone with Andrew James as he was recommended by my vet and is an AWCF, Master Farrier, he has done a fantastic job and I cannot thank himself and his team enough! Would recommend Andrew for remedial work to everyone, even though he is more Kidderminster based he has not mentioned the travelling.

Cannot believe the improvement already, I am just so shocked that there is a farrier in my area that could allow feet to become - well, no foot, no horse!

I've used Andrew James too, sadly I'm out of his range now, but he is absolutely brilliant and has a good team too. Out hunting a couple of seasons ago my horse lost a shoe and Andrew who was following in his van very kindly put it back on for me so I could finish the day. Fabulous service! Didn't think to recommend him to you, doh!

Andrew James is good, I currently use one of his former apprentices - very high standard of work & on-going attention to foot shape, condition and development. Glad you found someone you like. Tom as recommended by Highlands is also good.
