Farrier need in Northampton area

Hello, I have recently moved my horse from somerset to Moulton College in Northampton. He is a 17hh KWPN and is barefoot and I am looking to keep him that way. Does anyone know of a good farrier thats reasonably priced (due to being a student). I had him trimmed 2 weeks ago by someone and I am NOT impressed! His feet look worse now than they did before he was trimmed! I have been told be previous farriers that he has excellent feet and I dont want them ruined! hence why Im looking to try a different farrier!

Help would be much appreciated!!!

Can you not get advice from Moulton College staff? Or from other livery owners?
Or do they all use the same farrier?

I think you may be too far out but I use Toby Turner and he is fab and very reasonable rates

Don't know if you may be too far for him, but Graham Burgess is brilliant.

Welcome to my neck of the woods! I am just out the otherside of Pitsford village
I use Luke Massie for my two barefoot TB's and he is fantastic, people comment on how good their feet are whenever I'm out and about.
