Farrier needed in Essex

I have a gelding rising 6 who was shod in front but following a bad incident with a farrier became a nightmare to shoe, so I took shoes off, spent time handling feet ect and he is much more relaxed about it all.

So now I need a farrier to come out and trim his feet, I will keep him without shoes for a while as he is coping fine and will put front shoes back on in summer should he need them.

Problem is I can't find a farrier to come out, the young guy who does a few at the yard doesn't want to do him as he saw him last time when he went mad.
I have contacted a couple of friends farriers but both have said it isn't worth their while coming to do 1 horse.

So can anyone recommend a nice, patient, willing farrier. Im in Harold wood Essex.

P.S He will should be fine to trim.

Have a look at the farriers registration website. At least you know they will be registered too. Shame you are not on the other side of Essex and I would have bee able to help.

Thanks anyway, I have just pulled 6 names off their and will give them a ring tonight.
