Farrier reccommedations lincolnshire

just wondering if anyone had any reccommendations for farriers in the lincolnshire area? my farrier has recently retired after doing my horses for nearly 20 years!
I have tried a new one who is a brill farrier but soo unreliable in turning up, which is annoying and i have to chase him!
I have a couple in mind that I wont use due to bad experiences holding other peoples horses for them but fire away with who you use! so I can get a few names! many thanks!

I use Lee Allan 01476-585239 (he might be full) and Iian McGregor 07957 938521 based in Newark but travels to near Bourne for me. Used both all the time we have been up here can't fault them.

hi thanks have tried farriers council but just wanted peoples opinions that had actually used some that i didnt know off! as i have seen a few farriers work in my time and am un impressed! so trying to narrow down options! many thanks

Richard Swift covers all of Lincs, has been shoeing my boy for 6 years and fixed him after vets saying he would never come sound!

Is very patient and calm with the horses and is great with young and nervous horses. Also unlike some farriers is honest, if he thinks your horse doesn't need shoes ect he will tell you.

Best thing is if you make an appointment he will always turn up and calls if hes running a bit late!
