Tom Stevens, Jake Gregory and David East are all ones i use ( for 3 separate horses/separate yards) All good at showing up when they say they will and do a very good job. Pete Woods also meant to be very good, although not used him myself, also Pete and David more Sussex way so depends where you are in Guildford
Dave Howell. He is a bit far out - based in Claygate - but does travel all over. 07974217371.
Really experienced - in practice 20+ years. (He's Dip WCF if that means anything.) He does have a lot of apprentices in trainng - but won't use them without permisison. Great remedial farriery and good with horses that have had previous poor experiences or are nervous. Highly reccommended. (No idea what the waiting lists might be like though as he seems to shoe most of the yards and riding schools and stuff around here!)
Peter Gledhill. He is super he shoes all days and times of the week and is very good with any horse. I believe he has grown up around horses and come thorugh pony club etc.
He was also ne of the top in his year when he qualified. Does all different types of shoes and no silly prices
