Our Farrier is great! He's been working really hard lately trying to sort out my TB's typically dodgy feet. Trouble is every time he comes I'm finding myself with a shopping list of things to buy that might help! Last month it was Cornucrescine to be massaged in with a tooth brush and a hoof supplement. So off I go and get 3 months supply of Hardy Hoof and a big tub of the sticky stuff and a packet of Value toothbrushes! This month after mentioning that he looks really good and that he's starting to muscle up nicely he's suggested I should give him Blue Chip Balancer to help with his top line and a sausage boot to try to stop him from knocking his pasterns and coronets behind! Now I find myself looking forward to a trip to the feed merchants and tack shop again lol!! Having my horse shod is starting to cost me a lot more every 6 weeks than just the usual £70!! Pointless post really just thought It might stop me spending if I thought about it while typing.
