Has anyone got the name of a good RELIABLE farrier that would travel to the Stourbridge area? (I hear you all laugh at the word in capitals). I am currently fuming having just had a ACL reconstruction on my knee and being unable to drive I have hobbled to the village, caught a bus, changed to another bus in the town that took me near the yard and hobbled all the way there for 9am for the farrier and has he turned up? Has he boat. My friends mum has got a lift as she is on crutches and we have even roped in another girl to come and help us as no good between us. Has of course just turned his phone off. I don't mind them changing day/ being late etc if they just tell you. We had to change before because the other one started being the same. The new one was great to start with but this is the second time this has happened and we just can't do it especially when one of us normally has to book the day off work to be there.
Oh and I know someone will say well maybe they're trying to tell you something but it definately isn't us. We have 3 very well mannered good to shoe horses/ponies - there is an inside area to shoe in out of the rain and cold - they get tea/coffee and usually something to eat and are always paid!!
Sorry slight rant but I'm in pain and short tempered.
Many Thanks!! x
