Farriers in Warwickshire that will shoe a shirex

Any ideas, our normal farrier won't do heavy horses!! We're going to contact his regular farrier but worried he may so no as think he was relieved to not have to do him again! Not cause he's naughty in anyway just big!! Xx

My mate struggled to find a farrier in Warwickshire for a Clydesdale x she was going to have on loan. Was quoted £200 per set, more to put her off I think, farriers not so keen to do heavies because of the weight. We lucky that my farrier only charges £90 per set.

Hi, sorry I don't but if you try this website it will list farriers in your area. Might just have to phone around?

or perhaps see if there are any shire breeders or dealers in your area and ask them who they use?!!?

Spud, I used to use him. Excellent farrier.

Gary Oliver too.Never used him but know he's in the area (my friends brother)

Andrew Martin does the 19hh ISH on our yard. Not strictly a heavy I know but his feet are HUGE

There's Andrew Stanley aswel. He's the scariest man i've ever seen LOL but he knows how to handle a horse and he was always a good farrier. Haven't used or even seen him for years though.

we're lucky as our farrier is amazing it never even occured to me that shire x's were any diffrent except a bit bigger. in fact if anything our farrier prefers big feet he says he prefers them to tb feet
