Farriers who will cover lincolnshire

Hi all
I'm after some recommendations for farriers in my area.
I'm not happy with the way Hovis' feet are looking at the moment and would really like someone of the standard of martin deacon to have a look at him.
Martin has said at a push i can take him over there but it is an absolute fag to do so on a regular basis as i can't drive our lorry.
I know theres a farrier in north lincs called Jed something but can't remember his surname.
Does anyone know him or anyone else of that kind of standard?

If its North Lincs try Mark, Richard or Paul Newbert, they are very good, the number is 07977094074. Its Father and 2 sons they are all good, which ever one you get then thats the one you stick too, so not as though you get a different one each time.
 
Thanks. i'm actually south lincs but am just after someone who is v v good.
At 6 and being a heavy chap I don't want hovis' feet to not be perfect at this stage.
I'm probably being an overprotective mum but heh its my money and i can!!
I'll speak to these guys then if you rate them.
Do they do any work for vets? Thats how i know martin - he works with oakham who are our vets

I use Ian McGregor - he's based in Newark area I think. PM me if you want his details.

My friend uses Newberts they always seem to be very good as well.

I wouldn't recommend Jed Hallam though, but that is my personal view, alot of people do use him.
 
i use danny bennett, james' friend. also ex household cavalry, absolutely brilliant, safs feet have never been so good, he does remedial work as well, hes also quite close to where you live. giving away all my trade secrets, will pm you the number..
