It seems that so many people are unhappy with their farrier.

I have been with the same farrier for many years now and he has managed to sort a number of different problems for many different horses, he is always at the end of the phone if you need advice and is always happy to work along side the vet if need be.
He always turns up on the correct day and on time, to be honest I cannot fault him

I am the same.

My Farrier - TIM ROONEY - covering most of the Cardiff Area - is wonderful.

I've been with him ever since I had Amy - about 12 years now. Wouldn't change for love nor money.
 
How good to see a farrier appreciation post for reasons other than the cuteness of their apprentices.

Mine is excellent too, can't recommend him highly enough but it does seem that good ones are like golddust in some areas of the country.
 
Yep, mine is fab too!! Very in demand around here but has been coming to do my horse for nearly 10 years now, and has never put his prices up for my horses

Love my farrier. He came out on Boxing day to take shoes off my friends horse who had suspected laminitis and needed an x-ray (didn't trust vet to remove shoes as her feet were so rubbish/brittle). Now that is above and beyond the call of duty.
 
My farrier is amazing too!!

He is always on time, phones if he he going to be late, is patient with my very frustrating mare, and does a fabulous job!!! Can't really ask for more

My farrier is brilliant too, in the 8 years ive had him he's never been late once! Always early, he's solved many probs with my horse, and if he loses a shoes he'll come back the same day. Oh and he's never put my prices up!
 
i love my farrier, hes fantastic! He always books us in at the end of each visit for 7 weeks time, and always turns up on time! He even calls the night before to confirm that hes going to turn up! Now thats what i call good service!
 
I've been with the same farrier for 6 years now. He never lets me down, he's punctual & on occasions when I need a set of shoes earlier than normal he somehow manages to fit me in. He's Paul Armstrong, Warwickshire/Staffordshire Border.
