Farriers

My boy has been without a shoe now for over a week because my farrier keeps messing me around and no other farriers seem to actually answer their phones. Does anyone know a good reliable farrier in the southampton area who will come out and put 2 front shoes on a well mannered horse? If so please give me a number i can ring them on
 
cant help for your area but I did a google search for farriers in our area last week and came up with a farriers own website. He had all his prices on there, offers discount for multiple trims (saved us £50) and shoeing, answered the email I sent him within a couple of hours on a Sunday and finally came out yesterday to trim 10. He was brilliant with horses and their feet look great. So....... may be worth searching on the internet to see if you have one that has gone 'modern' near you and will actually respect the business he has rather than not giving a sh*t like most of them!
 
I would recommend Mark Barton as a farrier. But he's always fully booked, so I doubt he'd be able to come out quickly to sort you out. But if you wanted to change farrier I totally recommend. Very reliable, does an excellent job and when my boy twisted a shoe the night before the NF Show he came out at 10pm to put it back on!
 
Will ask my aunt and PM you. She used to live near there and I know she was happy with her farrier then
